The short version.

We're a small agency. We collect only what we need to have a real conversation with you, we don't sell your data to anyone, and we'll delete it if you ask. The long version explains exactly how.

Who we are

Salt and Co. Design Partners(“Salt and Co.”, “we”, or “us”) is a creative and strategy partner based in Virginia, USA, working with founders worldwide.

What we collect

When you use our contact form or write to us directly, we collect:

• Your name
• Your business name
• Your email address
• The message you send us, and which of our services you're interested in

We also collect basic, anonymised analytics about how the site is used — things like which pages are visited and from which country. This data can't be used to identify you personally.

How we use it

Information you submit through the contact form is used only to respond to your inquiry and to understand whether we're a fit to work together. Analytics data is used only to understand how the site performs so we can improve it.

We do not sell, rent, or share your personal information with third parties for marketing purposes. We do not add you to any mailing list automatically — you have to opt in.

Third-party services

A few carefully chosen services help us run this site and respond to you. They only see what's necessary to do their job:

• Hosting: Vercel hosts the website and processes requests.
• Email: When your message reaches us, it arrives as a regular email at our inbox.
• Analytics: A privacy-friendly analytics service helps us understand site usage without tracking you across the web.

Each of these providers has their own privacy policy, and we've chosen them because those policies align with ours.

Cookies

We use only essential cookies required for the site to function. We do not use tracking or advertising cookies, and we do not build profiles about you.

How long we keep your information

We keep contact-form submissions for as long as is useful to our relationship. If we don't end up working together and you don't hear from us again, we'll remove the information from active systems within twelve months.

Your rights

You have the right to:

• Ask what information we hold about you
• Correct anything that's wrong
• Ask us to delete it
• Withdraw consent at any time
